40 Acres of Rural Beauty

The property is 40 acres of forested land in a beautiful valley with a year round (usually) creek known as Lofton Creek. This creek actually divides the acreage in half. The land is a variation of grassy meadow, gentle slope and steeper wooded terrain. There are no visible neighbors to interrupt privacy, though deer, wild turkey and an occasional elk can be observed from the house or seen while on a walk.

The forest on the property comprises Ponderosa Pine, Douglas-fir, Juniper, Quaking Aspen trees and a few Blue Spruce. It is zoned Rural Woodlot 40 (RW40) and a state forestry land use plan has been prepared for property owner land use management.

The property access is a well maintained gravel road approximately one mile from the pavement at Allen Creek Road.   The property sits at approximately 3500 feet above sea level, and 11 miles north of the city of Prineville, Oregon in the foothills of the Ochoco Mountains.
